What is a Cappuccino?

In honor of national cappuccino day, we’re explaining what a cappuccino really is.

Where Did Espresso Originate From?

A cappuccino is an espresso drink but where did espresso come from? Espresso was a machine invented 1884 in Italy.Espresso is not a different kind of coffee drink, it’s refereed to the process of how the coffee drink is made.

Are Coffee and Espresso Different?

In reality espresso is how the coffee is made. They are not two different products rather the difference between process and product.
Espresso will look different than normal loosely ground coffee because it is finely ground up so it is compact enough to fit in the espresso machine.

You may have seen espresso coffee bags advertised in your local grocery stores, but that can be referencing that its coffee for espresso machines.

Some brands roast their coffee beans longer for blends advertised as espresso to give it a stronger bolder taste.
