Pistachio Recipe Guide

February 26th is national pistachio day so surprise your friends or family with a treat; pistachio drinks!

Pistachio is a part of the cashew family and is actually considered a seed.

The best part about pistachio is their taste. The roasted, rich, salty and hint of wood taste makes them addicting.

Test out the recipe below and give your friends, family or customers something to talk about!

Monin Pistachio Rose Latte

Ingredients

1⁄2 oz. Monin Pistachio Syrup
1⁄2 oz. Monin Rose Syrup
1 shot(s) espresso
9 oz. steamed milk

Directions

Fill serving glass full of hot water to warm glass.
Discard hot water and pour ingredients into serving glass in order listed.
Stir gently to mix.
Enjoy!

Cappuccine Apple Pistachio Pie Frappe

Ingredients

2 Scoops Cappuccine Pistachio mix
2 fl oz (60mL) Apple syrup
.5 fl oz (15mL) Cinnamon syrup
1/4 cup (57g) Apple Pie Filling
1.5 fl oz (45mL) Milk or water
12 oz (360mL) Ice

Directions

Add all ingredients to a blender
Blend until smooth
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and crushed pistachios.

Magic Green Strawberry

Ingredients

30g Fresh strawberries
5 oz Milk
1 oz Pistachio ice cream
.5 oz 1883 Pistachio syrup

Directions

Pour the ice, the syrup and the milk in one blender.
Blend and pour in a Tumbler.
Put the strawberries, the milk and a shovel of crushed ice in another blender.
Blend and pour over the pistachio mixture.
Decorate and serve.
The cocktail can be drunk mixed or in turn, as the customer prefers.
