Coffee has been in the drink market for many years since its discovery in the 7th century. It’s arguably one of the most popular drinks in the world. With an average of 400 billion cups being consumed in the United States alone. So how do you compete with other competitors like Starbucks or Coffee Bean Tea & Leaf? Sometimes, it’s not always a good tasting drink that attracts the customer, but the presentation of it!

The main driver behind this is social media. Social media has driven consumers to go for consumable products that can be well photographed, also known as “instagramable”. Anything instagramable has the opportunity to become viral and will help convince customers to purchase your coffee versus your competition. We took two popular Caffé D’Vita products and created two ways you can serve your coffee to customers and here are the results!

Cups are overrated! We purchased ice cream cones and lined the insides with chocolate candy melts and poured warm mocha cappuccino in them. Not only does this bring nostalgia to the customer, but it is very unique and delicious. You can also take it a step further and fill them with coffee ice cream or blended coffee.

Donuts pair perfectly with coffee, so why not serve them together? This is very simple but can definitely help turn a profit. We prepared Caffe D’Vita’s Vanilla Chai Latte on ice and decided to make it into a combo by serving it with a donut. All you have to do is place the donut on top of your cup’s lid and insert a long straw through the middle. The straw will help keep the donut from slipping off as the customers take their drink to-go. To make it even more special, you can even make the donuts be seasonal! This can motivate your customers to look forward to returning every month. We decorated the donut in spring colors and topped it with a peep, a popular sweet that is only around during April….now it's ready to be served and photographed for everyone to see.
