How to Make Christmas Tree Pancakes

People have been partaking in holiday festivities all throughout the season and now Christmas is finally just around the corner. It’s never too late to get into the spirit and spread that holiday cheer. Whether it’s by decorating or creating themed treats, the ambiance of this time of year radiates warmth and brightness.

One way to prepare for the upcoming week is to create Christmas tree pancakes with your loved ones. It’s a festive and fun activity, plus they’re simple to make and are a unique addition to your list of holiday foods.


How to Make Christmas Tree Pancakes

Ingredients:
• 1 cup Tea Zone Waffle Powder Mix
• 2 Eggs
• 1 oz Oil
• 6 oz Milk of Choice
• 6 oz Heavy Whipping Cream
• 1 oz Sugar
• Blueberries
• Sprinkles
• Powdered Sugar
Optional: Green food coloring to dye the batter.

Directions for Pancakes:
1. In a bowl, whisk Tea Zone Waffle Powder Mix, eggs, milk, and oil together.
2. Heat up a pan and add a little bit of oil. Scoop the batter onto the heated pan.
3. Cook for one to two minutes then flip.
4. Continue cooking until browned on both sides.
5. Remove cooked pancake from pan and set aside, allowing it to cool.
6. Repeat the process, making different sized pancakes.
Note: If you have a griddle, you can place all your different sized pancakes on it and cook them at the same time.

Directions for Whipped Cream:
1. Pour heavy whipping cream into a bowl and use a handheld mixer to whip air into the cream at a medium pace.
2. Add sugar and continue whipping until it becomes a billowy and smooth texture.

How to Construct Christmas Tree Pancakes


1. Place the largest pancake on a plate then spread the whipped cream on top. Press in three to five blueberries gently until they contact the surface of the cream.
2. Layer a smaller pancake above the blueberries and cream then repeat the steps until smallest pancake is on top.
3. Decorate the stack of pancakes with more cream and sprinkles.
4. Top it off with a tree topper and sprinkle some powdered sugar for a snowy look.

While there’s a little over a week left until Christmas, it’s the perfect time to start making holiday treats. One of the best parts about the holidays is the food, especially when it’s themed. After all, ‘tis the season to be merry and bright.
