French Toast, the not actually French – toast. This eggy bread was not actually made in France making it “French” but rather the last name of the inventor, Joseph French. French toast is a popular breakfast, or brunch depending on who you ask, food that deserves a delicious topping to enhance the flavors. Have you ever tried eating dry French toast? It is not the way to go… Aside from the traditional maple syrup, powdered sugar and fruit, honey butter makes a wonderful option as a garnish. Containing both sweet and salty flavors, it is the perfect addition.

In honor of National French Toast Day falling on November 28, here are three different honey butter recipes to make and use to celebrate.

2. Warm-up as a gooey delicious sauce for your food or put in the fridge to harden some for a spreadable butter

Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Honey Butter Copycat Recipe
Who can go to Texas Roadhouse and not eat all the rolls and butter? Is it even possible to go and not do that? Just asking for a friend... Could you imagine if bistros or cafes offered the same cinnamon honey butter? However, it would probably become less of a delicacy.

Ingredients:
• 1 cup Butter, softened
• 2/3 cup Powdered Sugar
• 2 tbsp Honey
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
• Pinch of Salt

Directions:
1. Add ingredients into a bowl and whisk together
2. Put it in the fridge if you wish to thicken it up

The holy grail that makes it impossible for anyone on a diet to eat at Texas Roadhouse.

Southern Honey Butter Recipe

This is a third recipe option for honey butter that is great for topping anything! It is a southern recipe that is sort of a combination of the two previous ones.

Ingredients:
• 8 oz Unsalted Butter
• ¼ cup Honey
• 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar
• ¼ tsp Sea Salt

Directions:
1. Add ingredients into a bowl and whisk together
2. Put it in the fridge if you wish to thicken it up

Whether you choose to top your French toast with honey butter, or add the remaining of it to something else. You can do biscuits, chicken n waffles, dinner rolls, or whatever you choose. It may go against everything on your diet, but if you need a little extra fat or carbs one day, you can use one of these recipes for reference!
